Picnic
So the picnic was awesome. I got a mar mar which is a local floral head wear. Then we got in a pick up truck and went to the island. There is some pictures of us rocking the BBQ and the last picture is my favorite. It is my local homies car with the cooler strapped to the back. Classic!

So as of late i have been getting drunk and getting drunk on local sakua. The latter is a local plant/root ground and drank with water. It is great and gets you pretty faded. There are some pictures of a boat that ran aground and is a nice diving board.

Typhoon Nanmadol
So The first pic is the giant storm that produced surf to our island. The next couple pics are of the right where we surfed. It was at least 6-8 foot. Sho Nuff!!!
Samoa
Well I would not like to get way too ahead of myself. Samoa was documented lightly so here are some pictures from the last couple of years. Pigs before getting steam roasted up in the umu. The leaves keep the heat in and keeps the meat juicy. There is a picture of my taxi driver smoking a huge doobie. That is pretty par for the course out here. In the words of Maria ENJOY!!!

Pohnpei Finally
So I am here now and am going to share with you some pictures. I got in at 2 in the morning after a whole day of flying. My Jesuit Volunteer homies picked me up and took me to my apartment. There was some nice flowers there and made me feel at home. Jokes. The place smelled like Captain Cook's grundle but the flowers helped. The pictures are of the landscape and the last one is at the village which is a nice hotel. I enjoyed a great meal there and should be getting used to the island in no time. I got some typhoon surf two days in a row which was nice and I am stoked to post those pictures in the near future.
